Brian Peterson was born in Miami, FL where his father was an electrical engineer. The family was later transferred to Greenville, SC where Brian spent most of his childhood. He attended and graduated from Bob Jones Academy in 1993. At the age of eight, Brian made a profession of faith, but he struggled with doubts for many years. The summer after his sophomore year in high school, Brian attended the WILDS Christian Camp in Brevard, NC. While there, God dealt with him about his sin. He realized that he must place his complete trust in Christ and depend on Him only for salvation. That same week, he surrendered his life to the Lord. The next year, while on a mission's trip in New York, Brian publicly announced his call to preach.

After high school, Pastor Peterson began preparing for the ministry by working on a Bachelor's degree in Bible. He graduated in 1997. Upon graduation, he became a graduate assistant at Bob Jones University working as a men's dormitory counselor. He graduated in May of 1999 with a Masters in Bible. A few days later he married Jennifer Gregory, also from Greenville, SC. Jennifer graduated from Bob Jones Academy and University. She obtained a BS in Interior Design in 1999.

Brian has traveled on an Evangelistic Team and also served as a camp counselor at The WILDS. The Lord brought Brian and his wife Jennifer to Bible Baptist Church in Matthews, NC shortly after their wedding on May 15, 1999.  Brian served as Youth Pastor at Bible Baptist Church for almost nine years.  In 2007, Brian completed his Master of Divinity as Bob Jones University.  He is currently the Associate Pastor at Brookside Baptist Church in Brookfield, WI where he oversees the shepherding and discipleship of the congregation.  He also teaches the Young Married’s LifeStage Class.

Brian has spoken at various conferences and retreats.  He is also an adjunct professor at Bob Jones University and Maranatha Baptist Bible College.  Brian and Jennifer have one daughter and two sons.
